Community, Partnerships & Donations
At Heavy Seas, our commitment goes beyond brewing bold, full-flavored beers. We believe in contributing to the well-being of our community.
To maximize our impact, we adopt a "quality over quantity" approach to larger-scale partnerships. We prioritize aligning with individuals and organizations that share our passion for overcoming obstacles to achieve meaningful missions. By focusing our efforts on select partnerships each year, we can make a more significant impact in our community.

ANNUAL BARCS COLLAB
We are so excited to be partnering with BARCS again for another spring beer collab! Details are still to come for this years collaboration and pet contest.
If you are unfamiliar with BARCS, BARCS is an open-admission shelter, meaning we accept and care for all animals in need regardless of health, history of abuse or neglect, age or temperament. This includes dogs, cats and small companions pets, along with farm animals, wildlife and exotic animals. As a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, BARCS fills the role of animal sheltering and care for Baltimore City. We are an essential service to our city, operating as a safe haven and community resource 365 days a year—every year since 2005. We uphold this unwavering commitment to the animals we serve through private donations from our community and beyond.

TOM YORKE & MS RUN THE U.S.
In 2024, Heavy Seas partnered with local Baltimore runner Tom Yorke for the monumental "MS Run the U.S." relay. This relay symbolizes resilience in the fight against Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and aims to raise funds for MS research while supporting those affected by the disease.
From March to July 2024, Heavy Seas hosted a series of fundraising events in our Taproom, with a portion of proceeds from every pint sold directly supporting MS Run the U.S.
